So I’m talking to my mate in JamRock right… and he was invited to give a talk to some 6 graders because they’re GCSE’s are coming up… we both graduated from highschool in 2007… which happened to be the same year we met… and I was teasing him saying that “I bet you feel old now”… and then I was like damn… time really does fly by fast doesn’t it… it’s insane when you really sit and think about all the things that has happened… and all the people that you’ve met over the years… and it’s incredible to think about what can happen and how the relationships that you have with people can blossom into something amazing…

Sometimes I think of the sun and moon as lovers. Who rarely meet, always chase, and almost always miss one another. But once in a while, they do catch up, and they do kiss, as the world stare in awe of their eclipse.
and the moment you speak them they are released into the Universe.
The law of attraction responds to all frequencies, and so it is also responding to the words that you speak.
When you use very strong words, such as “terrible”, “shocking” and “horrible” to describe any situation in your life, you are sending out an equally strong frequency, and the law of attraction must respond by bringing that frequency back to you.
The law is impersonal, and simply matches your frequency.
Do you see how important it is for you to speak strongly about what you want, and not to use strong words about what you don’t want?
The only dream I’ve ever had was the dream of London itself, and for me, from the minute I touched down in this city, that was enough. London became the best teacher I ever had.
Someone once told me “To travel is better than to arrive”… And I never really understood that until now….I used to think that there is only one path to take to get to where you want to be in life. But if you choose that one path, that doesn’t mean that you have to abandon all the other ones. I realise that it’s actually what happens along the way that counts… The stumbles and the falls and the friendships… It’s the journey, not the destination. You just have to trust that the future will work itself out like it’s supposed to.
Today I am grateful for Yoga. Not only does it make me feel good, it challenges me to work hard, asking that I maintain a calm smile on my handsome mug while enduring gravity’s pull and/or the taunting of the mind’s resistance. And so is life; a journey that requests we wear a smile while giving generously our time and talents.
Yoga may look all soft and bendy but it is actually ass-kickingly solid, especially in Virginia in June where all Yoga is Hot Yoga if you’re practicing outside.
Since returning to my practice I’ve re-discovered that I am more fulfilled and complete as I glide from task to task - as opposed to being in a hurry and doing a half-ass job and/or giving a half-hearted performance. I’ve written many songs that didn’t get the best attention due to my thinking there was somewhere else to be (and/or perhaps the project had become boring) But the fact is, there never was a ‘somewhere else’ to get – only a place where I wouldn’t have to work as hard. And as for boring, that too is just an excuse. One can easily change ones mind and try a different approach if one chooses. Yoga invites me to stick with it for a few more breaths before bailing out completely.
Don’t ask me why I wouldn’t want to work hard. I guess I’m a natural born snooze-button-pusher who lives to dream. Ease is what lured me to the music industry originally, as doing something you love means to never work a day in your life.
Yet, for reasons I’m currently on a quest to uncover, the moment something feels uncomfortable, I’ve had a habit of calling it quits. I’ve lost touch with many friends and lovers because of this. Well, FYI…
…Discomfort doesn’t mean danger!
Thanks to Yoga, I’ve learned I CAN tolerate discomfort and that by doing so I actually get stronger. In my community it’s common to hear someone say “lean into the discomfort.” I always knew that it meant go deeper without resistance, but it wasn’t until I applied it to my Yoga practice that it began to make sense off-the-mat. I find myself saying “lunge into the discomfort” whenever I’m confronted by lengthy warrior vinyasas.
Another groovy thing about Yoga (and all soul work in general) that I’ll never be able to explain, is the synchronicity that suddenly appears in and around your life. My guess is that by working with love, trust and patience on the mind, body and soul, you become aligned in a way that projects your inner peace outwardly through your personal energy field or aura, inviting that which you truly want to arrive at the doorstep of your eyes and over the threshold of your hands where you’ll get to welcome it back into your heart. I get this is how prayer and/or meditation work. It’s “the secret” after all; the law of attraction. You don’t have to ask, beg or borrow, you just simply get to be LOVE and voila! You GET love. So - Let your love light shine and allow all that you want to fly like beautiful moths to your flame.
The fastest way to receive is to give,
because giving starts the reciprocal action of receiving.
We all receive according to how much we give. Give the best of you everywhere you go.
Give a smile. Give thanks. Give kindness. Give love.
Your giving should be a giving without expectation of return - a giving for the sheer joy of it.
Is this a thought that you hold?
“I have no money to give, but when I have money then I will give.”
If it is, you will never have money.
The fastest way to attract anything is to give it to another, so if it is money you want to attract, then give it. You can give $10 or $5 or $1. It doesn’t matter what the amount is, just give it. It doesn’t matter how much and it doesn’t matter where you give it, just give!
But just know that…
Whatever you want to bring into your life, you must GIVE it. Do you want love? Then give it. Do you want appreciation? Then give it. Do you want understanding? Then give it. Do you want joy and happiness? Then give it to others.
You have the ability to give so much love, appreciation, understanding, and happiness to so many people every single day!
May the joy be with you…. :)
The law of attraction cannot change anything in your life that you hate,
because hate prevents the change from coming.
Since the law is giving us exactly what we are putting out,
when you hate something the law must continue to give you more of what you hate.
You will not be able to move away from it. Love is the only way.
If you focus completely on the things you love, then you are on your way to a beautiful life.
You must be happy now to bring happiness into your life through the law of attraction.
It’s a simple formula. Happiness attracts happiness.
Yet people use so many excuses as to why they can’t be happy.
They use excuses of debt, excuses of health, excuses of relationships, and excuses of all sorts of things as to why they can’t use this simple formula.
But the formula is the law.
No matter what the excuse, unless you begin to feel happy despite it, you cannot attract happiness.
The law of attraction is saying to you,
“Be happy now, and as long as you keep doing that, I will give you unlimited happiness.”
When you ask for happiness and a beautiful life, ask not just for you, but for everyone.
When you ask for something better, ask not just for you, but for everyone.
By all means ask for abundance and health for you, but also ask for it to be given to everyone.
Can you imagine what would happen if six billion people asked for these things for you?
Each of us is attracting in every moment of our lives.
So when you feel that the law isn’t working for you because you don’t have what you want,
realize that the law is responding to you.
You are either attracting what you want or you are attracting the absence of what you want.
But just know that the law is still working.
May the joy be with you…. ;)
